R.I.P. Chris Cornell
I have just discovered via Facebook that former Audioslave and Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell has passed away. He was 52. His death has been called sudden as he was down to play some gigs later on in the year.
Forget about 2017 sucking as much as 2016, it’s beginning to suck more.
Rest in Peace Chris Cornell.

Eddie Vedder is the only singer left now from the Big Four of Grunge…

In that case, he needs round the clock protection.

Especially if they haven’t quarantined that lady that was stalking him…

Such a tragedy. And I hadn’t thought about what Mike just said, but that is definitely amazing to think that only one of the singers is left…wow!

Neither did I, it is frightening to think that the three of the big four singers of grunge are gone.

Shocked. Just completely unexpected.
I’m listening to Seasons on repeat.

Good idea, I’ll jump between that and “Jesus Christ Pose.”

The most tragic day! I was able to take my son to see him last summer, and am forever thankful for that night. RIP https://asewalson.com/2016/07/16/dear-chris-cornell/

Supremely bad news. 52 is way too young for anybody to go.

It is, I’m 56 in three weeks and it has made me further realize my mortality.
